It is an honor to be featured on MyShingle.Com. The entry will increase visibility for Koehler Law and enhance search engine optimization for this website and blog. It also has personal significance for me. When I first decided to start my own law firm, I bought a number of “how-to” books. The one that I found to be both the most inspirational and the most helpful, and the book I still have on my desk, is the book Elefant wrote for solo practitioners, entitled Solo By Choice: How To Be The Lawyer You Always Wanted To Be.
The book describes virtually everything you need to know about starting a law firm, from dealing with clients, billing and fees, and generating cash flow to obtaining malpractice insurance, setting up a website and blog, and marketing. And it does so in an inspirational and easy-to-read way.
